The New Glarus Hotel will have new owners starting on January 1, 2015.
But don't worry—it will remain in good hands!
The new owners will be the two current head chefs at the New Glarus Hotel and Chalet Landhaus.
We hope you'll visit the New Glarus Hotel in the final months of Hans Lenzlinger's ownership. We are especially excited about our epic New Year's Eve send-off celebration, featuring a very special dinner, a performance featuring Barefoot Becky, and, of course, the countdown to 2015. When the evening winds down, as we revel in a new beginning with the promise of great times to come, enjoy a cup of the lovely, simple, humble Basler Mehlsuppe, a Swiss-German flour soup, made with beef and sprinkled with cheese—which has been a New Year's tradition at the hotel for years.
